Re: NE: Exhibition on Mr Tan Kah Kee at NLB

Dear students,
There will be an exhibition "Legacy of Tan Kah Kee and Lee Kong
Chian" held at the National Library from 18 July to 31 December
2008. Mr Tan Kah Kee is a great philanthropist and patron of
education who set up The Chinese High School in 1919. Those
interested may wish to visit the exhibition at NLB. Attached are
pictures of some heritage items provided by HC.
Interested students, do visit the exhibition when you are free.
Alternatively, classes may explore visit the exhibition as your
Learning Journey. You could propose to your civics tutors to help
arrange for the visit if time and schedule permits. It could be
during your free time (no missing of lessons) or during the CT-
student interaction slot.
